Prayer, Service & Activities We create opportunities for prayer, service, and extra curricular activities within the school and broader community to develop the whole child. Our Mother of Sorrows / Saint Ignatius of Loyola believes in the importance of faith in a child’s development, and are proud to teach students from many religious backgrounds. All students are encouraged to develop a personal faith through religious study and daily prayer. We create opportunities for personal development through service projects, including collections of food, student fundraisers, and a school wide Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. We also believe that students need learning opportunities after school. In addition to athletics, extra-curricular activities include Jr. Great Books, Writing Club, Science Club, Math Challenge, Student Council, and Baking Club. Quality Education & Environment |
