The Varsity Boys team, the Comets, beat St. Jude's to win the Archdiocesan Boy's Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 5, 2010. They finished the season with an undefeated record and have become the first Region 8 team EVER to win the Archdiocesan Tournament. Then they went on to the PA State Tournament in Harrisburg, from March 19th to the 21st. They competed against the top teams from 7 other diocese in the state, and again emerged victorious, with a final record of 41-0. We're so grateful to all the varsity boys basketball coaches - Leroy and Keith, as well as the JV coach Kwanza, and the athletic director, Crystal - for their dedication, leadership, and hard work. Thanks as well to the many alumni and friends of OMS/SI whose contributions allowed the team to travel to Harrisburg.
